Effect of Yoga and Pilates exercises on lumbar spine physical parameters in healthy women

Purpose: In this study, it was aimed to examine the physical effects of participation in a Yoga and Pilates-based exercise program on endurance flexibility spine order protect health lumbar region healthy women.
 Methods: A total 40 women with mean age 41.62±6.91 years were included study. Participants divided into two groups as Pilates randomly. Both participated an for 45 minutes day, days week 12 weeks. Sit reach test used evaluate flexibility, curl up, Static back horizontal side bridge building endurance. 
 Results: When both compared before after treatment, statistically significant difference found favor post-treatment all measurements (p0.05). Conclusion: According results our determined that types improved muscle performance. However, seen exercises not superior each other terms methods can be safely improve general especially health.
